Welcome to Nouri. By accessing or using our website at heynouri.app and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
Service Description
Nouri is a lifestyle and wellness app that provides food logging, meal ideas, wellness journaling, and lifestyle tools designed for women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Our services include a lifestyle quiz (for personalisation, not clinical assessment), lifestyle content, and (upon launch) an AI-powered lifestyle companion app.
Nouri is not a medical service. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind.

The information provided through Nouri — including quiz results, blog articles, meal ideas, AI-generated content, and lifestyle suggestions — is for lifestyle and informational purposes only.

No Professional Relationship
Use of Nouri does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Nouri or its operators. Nouri is a lifestyle app — not a healthcare service.
Nouri is a software tool that provides lifestyle and wellness features. Nouri is not a regulated health professional under Ontario's Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 or any equivalent legislation. The services provided through Nouri do not constitute the practice of dietetics, medicine, or any other regulated health profession.
AI-Generated Content
Nouri uses artificial intelligence to generate meal ideas, food logging estimates, and lifestyle suggestions. AI-generated content:
- May not always be accurate, complete, or up to date
- Should not be relied upon as professional health advice
- Is generated based on general patterns and the information you provide
- Does not account for all individual health conditions, medications, or allergies
You are responsible for evaluating any information or suggestions provided by Nouri and for consulting with your healthcare provider as appropriate.
User Responsibility
By using Nouri, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for your own health decisions
- You will consult with qualified healthcare providers for medical advice
- You will not use Nouri as a replacement for professional medical care
- The information you provide (quiz answers, health data, dietary preferences) is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use the Service
Email Communications (CASL Compliance)
By providing your email address through our waitlist, quiz, or any other form on our website, you expressly consent to receive commercial electronic messages from Nouri, including:
- Product updates and launch announcements
- Early access invitations
- Educational nutrition content and guides
- Occasional promotional communications
You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from these communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in every email we send, or by contacting us at hello@heynouri.app.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app or by contacting us at hello@heynouri.app. Upon cancellation:
- Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
- Free trial users who cancel before the trial ends will not be charged
Refund requests for paid subscriptions may be submitted within 14 days of a charge by contacting us at hello@heynouri.app. Refunds are issued at our discretion, in compliance with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and applicable law. For subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store, Apple's refund policies apply.
Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. You will not be charged for any billing period after cancellation takes effect.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Nouri website and app — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Nouri and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nouri and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, any damages arising from:
- Reliance on any information provided through the Service
- Health outcomes related to dietary changes or nutrition decisions
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Interruption or unavailability of the Service
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nouri and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service, you and Nouri agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hello@heynouri.app. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue mediation before resorting to litigation. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
